2012 Valentine's Day Giveaway Contest
Jewelers Mutual Insurance Company is partnering with the jewelry brand Hearts On Fire for a social media contest that allows people to express their love to their special someone in celebration of Valentine's Day.
From January 16 – February 27, 2012, the Show the Love photo contest will be promoted on Jewelers Mutual's Facebook page at facebook.com/JewelersMutual. To enter, participants are asked to finish the phrase "I show my love by…" and then upload a photo that best supports the text submission. The grand-prize winner will receive an Amorous Journey heart-shaped, diamond pendant from Hearts On Fire.
"To have the opportunity to team up with Hearts On Fire and acquire such a uniquely beautiful piece of jewelry is something we’ve been wanting to offer to our customers and fans for quite awhile," said Patrick Drummond, Jewelers Mutual's Vice Vresident of Sales and Marketing. "Everyone loves the beauty of diamonds and the motivation of Valentine's Day to express their love to the special people in their lives. The timing is perfect."
Caryl Capeci, Vice President of Marketing for Hearts On Fire agreed with Drummond. "We're excited to be part of Jewelers Mutual's special promotion and be able to award a pendant of perfectly cut Hearts On Fire diamonds to one deserving couple. It will be an extraordinary symbol of their love."
A panel of Jewelers Mutual judges will select 20 finalists based on such criteria as creativity, originality and keeping with the theme. "Whether it's making a favorite meal, sending flowers, saying ‘yes’ to a proposal, these are all ways people show their love. The creative part comes in how contestants decide to convey and capture those special moments," said Chad Fulwiler, Director of Marketing, Personal Lines.
Once the finalists are selected, the public will have a chance to vote for their favorite entry. "The opportunity to win The World's Most Perfectly Cut Diamond® for a loved one; who could ask for anything more?" added Fulwiler.
