The Financial Analyst I will analyze and report financial results for the company in a variety of areas. This person will be a valued and important member of the financial planning & analysis department and will work to support business leaders.

• Prepare monthly financial analysis related to inventory, sales, and gross margin 
• Identify areas to generate cost savings through more efficient materials purchasing, demand forecasting and inventory utilization
• Make purchasing suggestions based on inventory projections, sales projections, market supply and cost
• Execute purchase decisions, working with cross functional teams and vendors to validate costs and ensure accuracy
• Assist with preparation of monthly forecast
• Prepare standard periodic inventory, purchasing, and sales/ margin/mix reports
• Assist with preparation of monthly financial reporting
• Assist with the annual budget process 
• Deliver error free and timely reports on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
• Other business analysis and reporting as directed
• Ad hoc financial reporting as necessary
• Develop understanding of business/industry and the content of financial and business reporting
• Obtain knowledge from peers and leaders as necessary

• A bachelor’s Degree is required
• A minimum of 0-2 years of related experience is required
• Familiarity with excel and MS Office suite, preferable some ERP experience, must possess technical aptitude
• A customer-service attitude and orientation
• Ability to manage multiple priorities
• Ability to set goals and track progress towards completion
• Strong verbal and written communications skills
